Check your starting block for the Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB 2026 🏃
To ensure the smooth running of the event and the safety of all participants, runners in the Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB have been assigned to multiple starting block. Your starting block was determined based on the UTMB Index.
On the 15 km, 25 km and 50 km routes, runners will be divided into two starting blocks. Each wave will have a clearly marked start time.

Important: Your starting wave will also be indicated on your bib. You must start in your assigned block. Changing blocks without the organizer’s approval may result in disqualification.
15 km – Intersport Speed
On the 15 km race, runners will be divided into two starting block:
- Starting block 1: start at 10:40
- Starting block 2: start at 10:45
25 km – Kranjska Gora
On the 25 km race, runners will be divided into two starting block:
- Starting block 1: start at 8:00
- Starting block 2: start at 8:15
50 km - Sky Trail
For the 50 km race, the schedule is particularly important due to bus departures:
- Starting block 1: bus departure at 6:00, start at 8:00
- Starting block 2: bus departure at 7:45, start at 9:30
Runners who want to run together with a friend can move from wave 1 to wave 2. Moving from wave 2 to wave 1 is not allowed, as different running speeds can cause congestion at the start of the race.
All changes must be made through the official form no later than August, 30th 2026 (midnight); changes via email will not be accepted.
