Kranjska Gora - 25, 15 & 10 km
A world-class ski centre nestled in the Julian Alps at the triple border point of Slovenia, Italy and Austria. Kranjska Gora is an attractive mountain and tourist sports centre throughout the year. In the winter it sees Alpine skiers compete and top ski jumpers break new records at the near-by Planica. Cyclists endeavour to conquer the highest Slovenian mountain pass, hikers and trail runners can stop by many points of interest.
Bled - 80 km
If you had to choose the most iconic and tourist-known spot in Slovenia, then it would definitely be Lake Bled. The fairytale location with an island in the middle of the lake, on which you can also find a church, is certainly the most photographed spot in Slovenia. Lake Bled and a castle perched on a cliff is one of the most beautiful Alpine resorts in Europe. Bled is an image of paradise. This tourist gem of global dimensions on the edge of the Triglav National Park was nominated one of the seven new wonders of the world. It is distinguished by a mild, healing climate and thermal springs of lake water.
Radovljica - 120 km
A town of sweet adventures on the doorstep of the Julian Alps. Radovljica, a medieval town with a moat and views of the Karavanke Alps and the Julian Alps, is known today as Sweet Radovljica (Radol'ca). The tradition of beekeeping and honey is supplemented with new sweet experiences. It has become a real capital of beekeeping and chocolate.
Žirovnica - 50 km
Žirovnica lies in a green valley at the foot of the Karavanke mountain range. The tree line reaches right to the edge of the fragrant meadows and the higher you follow the mountain trails, the more beautiful the views are. Discover pleasant paths above the Žirovnica villages and in the Završnica valley, meanwhile, more demanding hikers can climb up to the ridge Peči, Mt. Ajdna, Stol and other alpine peaks in the vicinity. Treat yourself to a day full of activities in the unspoiled nature. Žirovnica is a perfect getaway to exploring the less crowded, yet equally stunning parts of the Julian Alps and Karavanks.
