Runners will traverse scenic single trails, dense forests, and alpine meadows, capturing the essence of the region's natural beauty. It's a unique chance to experience the panoramic vistas of Lake Bled and the majestic peaks of Triglav National Park – Slovenia’s only national park – in a single, unforgettable run.

Runners pass a plethora of Slovenia’s most iconic spots along their route of choice. The event is set in Kranjska Gora, a lovely alpine resort below the Julian Alps, and includes the world-famous Lake Bled with its fairy-tale island. The historic charm of Radovljica and the quaint village of Žirovnica, situated beneath Stol Mountain, add to the charm as well. Indeed, the entire run is like a scene from a postcard!

The Julian Alps Trail Run stands out as Slovenia’s only event in the prestigious UTMB World Series. As the country’s largest trail running event, it attracts over 5,000 participants from more than 80 countries each year. By participating, runners gain a unique opportunity to earn valuable UTMB points and Running Stones, which are essential for qualifying for the renowned HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc races.
